Position: Engineer – Maintenance
Reports to the Maintenance Reliability Supervisor
Objectives
As Maintenance Engineer, you are the main point of contact for maintenance activities and machine performance (troubleshooting and preventive interventions) for all installations assigned to you. Based on your technical knowledge, your knowledge of processes and risk analyses, you initiate and coordinate action that results in improved machine performance and maintenance operations.
You will be part of a team managing Process and Clean Utilities.
Key result areas and responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the installations for which you are responsible
Actively participate in the planning and execution of maintenance shutdown
Develop, analyze and adjust maintenance plans and schedules
Analyze, propose and implement improvements for optimal operation and use of the installations and to reduce costs
Subject Matter Expert
Support audits/inspections
Provide expertise in the assigned field with regard to internal requests
Conduct root cause analyses, define and undertake corrective and preventive action
Participate in improvement projects initiated by engineering
Monitor, standardize and train technicians
Write and analyze operating procedures and instructions for assigned procedures
Train technicians on the installations
Monitor activities carried out by the technicians
Second line troubleshooting after technicians
Profile:- Education level: Industrial engineer (electromechanical) or equivalent experience
- You are a fresh graduated or you had already your first experience in a similar position
- Experience in the pharmaceutical sector an knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines and SOP (standard operating Procedures) are an asset
- Knowledge of maintenance concepts, installation upgrades and installation techniques is an asset
- Automation knowledge is a plus (PLC,SCADA…)
- You are familiar with the use of MS Office and other software
- Language skills: Dutch and/or French and good knowledge of English
- Ability for writing clear and complete documents
- You like to plan, and you look for solutions to achieve the objectives
- You are well organized and able to propose and integrate innovative ideas
- You are a team player, enjoy supportive, hands-on work and want to develop further
